My name is Jake Kiefer and I was born in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and come from parents of German and Western-European heritage.  In early 2010, I completed my bachelors degree from the University of Guelph and am currently finishing my masters thesis in political science at the same institution.

I have a passion for sports, politics, and great tasting food and drink.  I love to play and watch both soccer and hockey and cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Bayern Munchen.  I love animals and have an especially soft spot for dogs.

However, I also am passionate about and love to learn and love to see others learning as well.  This is what makes writing for and often utilizing hubpages a media tool with great utility for seeing these social goals come to fruition.
